The New York City High School Admissions Study is made up of a group of researchers at New York University, Columbia University, and Seton Hall University. The Study has developed a group of tools to help 8th grade students in NYC find their high school match, and is conducting research on the effectiveness of these tools.

The Study has developed and delivered informational interventions in 170 NYC middle schools to assist low-income students with the high school choice process. Together, these interventions reached approximately 20,000 NYC middle school students in the 2015-2016 school year.
